1850's "Ready-made" Fall Front Trousers

  • Trouers are made from a mid-weight, black, wool broadcloth. They are fully lined with an oatmeal colored cotton calico. Garment is outfitted with a matched set of 5/8", pressed horn, four hole buttons. The rear adjustment buckle features an enameled, early Hartshorn 1855 patent buckle. The trousers are primarily machine sewn (lockstitch) with hand detailing along the waistband, internal fly, buttonholes, and casting around raw edges on all seams.
